Zacchaeus found salvation and satisfaction in Jesus Christ as Jesus passed through Jericho. Such was the joy of his salvation that he gave away half of his goods. The Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

The road to heaven is paved with good intentions. In Matthew chapters 26 to 27 we perceive the many missed opportunities! Judas who wanted a little more than Jesus! The crowd who chose Barabbas and wanted less than Jesus! The disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane who were interested in Jesus but not that interested to stay awake for Jesus! Pontius Pilate who wanted no more to do with Jesus and Peter who denied Jesus. Even God forsook Jesus at Calvary as Jesus suffered for our sins. Have you found Jesus? The only place to find Him is at the cross.
