The Rich man and Lazarus - Luke chapter 16 - Craig Mackie

Luke chapter 16 describes two destinies, heaven and hell, and two men the rich man and Lazarus. Hell is as real as heaven, tangible and horrifying, a place of suffering and of regrets. Now is the time to prepare for eternity, the path of salvation has been laid out in the Bible, the Word of God, faith alone in the Lord Jesus, who has given Himself for us, sinners is God's way of slavation.

Loved Lost and Longed For - The Lost Sheep and Prodigal Son - Luke chp 15 - JS Gillespie

The three fold parables of the lost sheep, lost coin and prodigal son powerfully present the dual picture of humanity lost in darkness, and despair, distant from God, along with the picture of a Saviour seeking, persistanly searching “until” He finds that lost soul and then bringing them home. We are more lost than we know and more loved than we could ever imagine.
