The beginning of the public ministry of Jesus in the synagogue at Capernaum. We notice the priority of the preaching of the Word of God as Jesus presents the Gospel not by means of miracles nor signs but by the power of the rpeached Word of God. It was Jesus whose blood was shed, who suffered the pain and rejection, the humiliation and isolation, the death and the grave to bring the message of the Gospel. Never was the message preached like this before.
