Gareth Dunlop of Crosshouse Gospel Hall, presents the demand of the Lord Jesus Christ, found in John's gospel chapter 3 that to know God and to be ready to meet God "you must be born again." This birth is radically new and different from any natural experience we have already had. This birth is from God, and achieved by the inward working of God's Spirit within us. The utter transformation of a broken, sinful life may seem impossible for us but the power of reconciling sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and the effective power of God's Spirit is able to bring us from darkness to light from the power of Satan to the power of God.
