The Day the Acropolis Crumbled - Acts 17 - JS Gillespie

Mars Hill and Areopagus is the setting for Pauls famous sermon at Athens on the unknown God. Here Paul introduces the Athenians to a God they did not know, A voice they had not heard and a Hope they did not have. It was here that God's appointed time came for Damaris and Dionysius the Areopagite, converted from heathenism, and paganism to Jesus. It was here that the first cracks began to form on the old pagan ways of worship at the Acropolis of Athens. A gospel message preached by Dr J Stewart Gillespie, New Cumnock.
