Revelation chapter 20 contains the concluding chapter to the story of the world. It is the Bible's 'restaurant at the end of the universe.' In Revelation 20 we have the victory which concludes the battle of the Christian life, a victory over the world, the flesh and the Devil. We have also the conclusion to Satan's defeat. His place is in the bottomless pit and subsequently the lake of fire forever. Satan's ambition is to take as many souls with him to hell as possible, to make as many as he can share in his destiny in eternal judgment. Dr J Stewart Gillespie graceinchrist.org
